A Wife's Phone

Nothing else in our catalog is built like this. You do not walk around a town or click through a story, you use a phone. Messages arrive, social profiles update, and an application you did not install turns up with features that should not exist. Everything you learn comes through that screen, which makes the format a natural fit for a story about suspicion.

The plot earns the interface. Something has happened to your best friend's wife, another married woman is behaving oddly, and the more you read the less certain you are about your own wife. Bloody Ink lets you follow threads in whatever order you like, so the picture assembles differently depending on what you look at first. Version 0.8.6 has a decent amount of material behind it.

Two drawbacks

The phone metaphor becomes a chore. Checking every app for new content on every in-game day is busywork, and the game does not flag where something changed. At 29 MB it is also one of the heavier builds here, so expect a pause before the first screen on mobile. The premise is the reason to try it anyway. Free in the browser above.
