Neko Paradise

Almost everything we cover is a visual novel where the story decides where you go next. Neko Paradise is not that. It is a free roam game: you wander an island full of neko girls, meet them where they happen to be, and pick up or drop romances as you like. Nobody is gating the next scene behind a chapter.

Alorth built a custom animated interface for it, and the CG animation count is high for a project this size. Relationships can run in parallel rather than forcing you to commit, and transformation and pregnancy content sits underneath the romances for players who want their bonds to have consequences. Every neko is drawn to a different type, so the roster covers a lot of ground.

The trade-off

Free roam means structure is thin. Without quest markers you will occasionally circle the island wondering what triggers next, and the girls have looks and preferences more than personalities. Version 0.20b also leaves several of them barely written. Come for the animation and the freedom to browse, not for a story. Free in the browser above.
