Taboo University

This is the same studio and the same campus as Fetish Locator, set earlier. Three students have disappeared and nobody official is doing much about it, so you work the social map instead: get inside each clique, trade favors, collect what people let slip. It gives the game a spine that most 3D campus stories skip entirely, and the investigation actually resolves rather than dissolving into scene unlocks.

The cast is split into groups and that structure carries the writing. The Criminals run on Zemfira's temper, the cult side belongs to Delphia and her rituals, and the Winners are all polish until you find the crack. Each relationship can stay a friendship or turn into something else depending on how far you push, and ViNovella lets you actually choose rather than funneling you. Renders are clean and the lighting holds up in the darker campus scenes.

Worth knowing first

Book Two assumes you know the first one. Names, factions and half the running jokes land flat if you jump in cold, and the recap does not do the work for you. The pacing also sags in the middle, where a stretch of the mystery turns into fetching one conversation after another. Free in the browser above.
