Parasite Black

Almost everything we cover is a story you click through. Parasite Black is a role playing game first. You come back from a mission in Mirnos alive and carrying a magical gift you were not supposed to have, and the kingdom of Alderay is losing a war against the Demorai. From there it is quests, crafting, gear, attributes and a party you have to actually build, because the parasite bosses will punish a badly assembled team.

Damned Studios has kept a real release cadence on this. The public 0.198 build landed in August 2026 with a full second Tarbeck story arc and a large side quest, which is more content per update than most projects in the genre manage in a year. The browser version above is 0.160, a 38 MB package, so it takes a moment to unpack before the first screen.

What to expect going in

The combat is competent, not deep. If you have played a real RPG you will read its systems in twenty minutes and then spend the rest of the run on autopilot through fights that exist mainly to gate the next scene. The tag list is also very wide, NTR and cheating included, so check your settings and your saves rather than assuming the romance routes stay clean. Free in the browser above.
