Total Degeneracy Island

Reality television parody is a smart fit for this kind of game and almost nobody does it. You arrive last on the island, the other campers are broad cartoon types you will recognize immediately if you have ever watched the show this riffs on, and the challenges are the familiar format with the edges pushed. Stripping shows up as a challenge twist rather than a cutscene, which is the sort of joke the premise should be making.

Elimination is the part that gives it structure. Your bonds with the other contestants decide whether you survive the vote, so maintaining relationships is the actual game rather than a bonus track. SID Gaming built it as a mobile sandbox with quests and mini games between the scenes, and at 13 MB it opens quickly on a phone. The pin-ups and animated scenes are the payoff for keeping people on your side.

Early days

Version 0.07b is very early. Several campers have almost no content, a few quests end in a placeholder, and the mini games repeat sooner than they should. The humor also swings wide, with gags that land next to gags that just sit there. Worth watching rather than finishing right now. Free in the browser above.
